Invicta came to Angle to modernise and rebuild their existing websites into visually pleasing, user friendly and on brand sub-sites. One group site was to built that would pull the subsites together and displat information from across each of the sub sites.
With management of all the websites being completed my one member of the marketing team we established a way of building all the sites through the use of one content management system (CMS).
Our research saw us looking through a range of businesses that offer different services under one main brand. We reviewed relevant industries as well as large companies to see what ideas and concepts work well and can provide inspiration for The Invicta Group websites.
We also looked into the best platform and methods for tying the websites together and creating an easy to use CMS allowing the Invicta Group the ability to access one CMS and edit the sites/ sections that admin user requires.
The designs needed to cater for the amount of content on the old websites but also to break down the structure into more digestible and user friendly pages.
The Group website formed the main theming for the sub-sites so once established it created consistency and furthered brand recognition.
The website looked to contain useful resources and case studies to build potential customer confidence, which was a key aspect to consider in the design of all Invicta websites.
Built in ExpressionEngine the CMS is multi-site managed so an Invicta admin can login to one dashboard but then switch to the site they want to manage.
This also allowed certain elements of information to be pulled through to the Group website, such as Case Studies which is an important aspect of the website.
We aim to make the websites dynamic in a way that they can always scale up, edit or remove services as they require.
Three of the 5 websites are now launched with the last 2 sub-sites not far behind it and being populated.
An enjoyable build with the challenges of a multi-managed platform, confidently obliged by the development team. We look forward to a full analytical review once all are launched.
